How to request a letter of enrollment
A letter of enrollment is an official letter verifying a student’s full time enrollment at RISD. Students who need a letter of enrollment may come to the Registrar’s Office and fill out an “Enrollment Certification” form or download one by clicking on Enrollment Certification Form.
Parent’s who need an enrollment letter for their son or daughter can send a copy of the form to the Registrar’s Office by postal mail, fax, or email. All contact information can be found under Location and Hours. Once a request is received, the letter is usually processed within three business days. Enrollment certification letters can be sent out in several ways. Please indicate how you prefer your letter to be sent out in your request. Letters can be sent out from the Registrar’s Office by postal mail, fax, campus box, or as a pdf attachment to an email.
