As a result of a cooperative arrangement, RISD students may elect certain courses at Brown University. Brown students may also elect certain courses at RISD. (Note: Brown|RISD Dual Degree students do not register through the cross-registration process as they are enrolled in degree granting programs at both schools. Additionally, the Master of Arts in Design Engineering joint program has a separate registration process).
Registration at either school is on a space-available basis and is subject to permission of the course instructor and the host-school’s Registrar.
