Diplomas are provided at Commencement.
Alumni who have lost or misplaced diplomas can request a diploma be reissued by submitting the Request for a Re-Issued Diploma form. This form must be completed in full and sent to the Registrar’s Office by regular mail, e-mail, or submitted in person. See the form for address and payment details. The fee for a reissued diploma is $50 per diploma. Once the request form is received with payment, we will verify your degree and begin the process. Due to the personalized nature of the RISD diploma, please allow 4-6 weeks for a diploma to be produced from receipt of request to completion.
Due to the fact that diplomas are hand lettered, RISD does not provide electronic diplomas.
