Course Proposals and Revisions

Below please find the Course Proposal Form, instructions for the form, the Course/Section Revision form, and the Existing Curriculum Change form.

Access the Curriculum Committee Guidelines for policies and procedures related to offering new courses, revisions to courses, and changes to departmental curricula. The Guidelines are on the Academic Affairs internal website, available only to those with a RISD email address. If you are already logged in to your RISD email, it will take you directly to the page. Otherwise, the link will take you to a page where you can log in. Once you log in, it will take you directly to the page with the Guidelines.

To view the required courses in a major, reference the curriculum table for the major which is available in the current Course Catalog  at the front of each department section.
